Axis Sports Medicine are specialists in the injury prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of professional and recreational/amateur athletes.
Their recent refit of their facility on the second storey of a Southern Cross Hospital (above operating theatres) brought many challenges, primarily being the need for significant acoustic properties in their flooring.
The natural acoustic properties of Regupol Shape rubber flooring was ideal for the small running track that was inserted into the floor for rehabilitation purposes. The office area utilized Desso Grain carpet tiles to achieve a seamless look and feel with Regupol 4080 acoustic underlay installed to assist with the dampening of the impact sound transmission through the floor.
