Burlington Care Home

The team at Jacobsen collaborated with Hills Flooring South Island to provide flooring solutions for the new Burlington Retirement Village in Redwood, Christchurch.  

Designed by MAP Architects and Jane Swinard Design, this unique complex boasts an upscale, non-institutional feel with state-of-the-art care facilities and warm, inviting spaces.  

Special attention was given to selecting carpet designs that provide a modern, comfortable and resort-like atmosphere to the various spaces. The large apartment-sized units and spacious floor plans allowed for creative pattern selection to add a distinct personality to the different sections of the facility. 

Jacobsen products that were used include Shaw Terasu carpet tile in Hana, Botan and Kusa, Shaw Alternature carpet tile in Earth Tone and EPBL Grounded. 

Products used in other areas (not featured here) include Tarkett Eclipse Spirit, Tarkett Primo Safe T and Tarkett Granit Safe T.
